News - 20/21 Season Postponed
Due to the ongoing covid 19 situation and the unprecedented times we find ourselves in, your committee has decided that we are unable to restart skittles at this time. With the 'rule of six’, the 22:00 pub curfew, the government suggesting that these restrictions will be in force for at least the next six months, and with the potential for local lockdowns; regrettably there can be no league skittles for the foreseeable future.
As soon as the situation improves and social distancing rules allow we will organise an AGM to discuss options for the future.
The way in which we play skittles may need to change, although we would hope that with your continued support, we will find a way to start again.
We, your committee, are not qualified to determine what health and safety rules are needed or to recommend a solution for resuming skittles. We are more than willing to consider suggestions from you and your team.
